ERRIGA NEWMONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!REMEMBER THE NAME

THE 2ND TIME I'LL BE TALKING ABOUT THIS GUY ON MY BLOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This 23 year old pidgin rap sensation from Warri in Delta State born Erhiga Agarivbie but better known as Erigga Newmoney started recording songs at the tender been inspired by rap icons like rakim, canibus ,50 cent, Jay Z, Eminem, Jarule and Nas.
Deriving inspiration from the streetz he has battled and won over 24 rap battles in Port Harcourt, Benin and Warri. With over 153 songs in his kitty some of which he wrote while paying the ultimate price for his juvenile misdemeanour in Warri.
In 2010 he came out with a video title "Dem No Get Two Heads", shot by Igho Tosin (igho films). The video did not get massive airplay because of the graphic content, however on youtube, he got over 5000 views in the first week of uploading the video.

FROM THE GUNNERS POINT OF VIEW-ARSENAL VS LIVERPOOL ANALYSIS AND MATCH RATINGS

It was inevitable.
A lot of heart shown by all the players, the crowd – fair play to most of them – rose to the occasion, young guns despite their obvious inexperience performed admirably, those in a limbo showed their professionalism, but in the end it all came to nought.
Another once-in-a-lifetime freak goal conceded by Arsenal gave Liverpool the edge in the final quarter-hour of the game when it looked like the ten men might just hold on. And the visitors garnished the result with a neat little second as the Gunners went in search of the equalizer.
Arsene started with Nasri in the midfield with Jenkinson on the right and Sagna as left-back. The line-up looked fairly strong albeit not the kind one would wish to see as the first team.
The opening exchanges were even but there were signs of things to come. In the 6th minute Arshavin found himself unmarked on the edge of the box when a corner was deflected to him. His touch was disappointing and the opportunity was lost. The awkward height of the ball cannot be an excuse at this level. That extra bit of quality in moments that could have been decisive was to lack throughout the game.
A couple of minutes later Frimpong went into the Referees book for a strange offence. He squared up to Kuyt who was about to take a throw-in. Seemed needless and was perhaps the result of his youthful over exuberance. Even that early on, there were genuine fears a red card was coming.
Soon after, Koscielny hobbled off with a back spasm leading to the introduction of Ignasi Miquel. He was the only defender on the bench!
Szczesny’s first big save came in the 20th minute when a cross from the Liverpool left found Carroll in the middle. His header was powerful but not well-directed.
For the rest of the first half, Liverpool pushed Arsenal back and created a number of half chances. Thomas Vermaelen stood tall and virtually owned the penalty box. Other defenders did their bit in helping the Belgian. The visitors appeared to dominate without providing a genuine threat.
Arsenal had precious few chances in attack and on occasions when they did get a chance the final ball was missing. Starting with Van Persie very early in the game when he almost put Walcott through from deep in Arsenal’s half, too many Gunners either put too much or too little weight on their final ball/cross.
Frimpong tested Reina and Nasri went close with long range shots after powering runs down the middle.
That was it for the first half. Liverpool didn’t look great for a side with so many additions. Arsenal didn’t look that far away even with three youngsters in defensive positions.
The second half was played at a slower pace. It appeared to me that the visitors were sitting back a lot more. This provided Arsenal more time on the ball but once again there was no cohesion or incision to the attack.
The ball was moved wide after too many touches and the wingers were always crowded out. When they did get a cross in there was hardly anybody in the box. Not only that, it was far too easy for Liverpool to move from defending a cross to putting one in of their own.
On one such occasion, in the 55th minute an over-hit cross from Jenkinson led to a counter-attack with his Liverpool counterpart Kelly hitting the post.
There were one or two attempts at playing down the middle but the players were not on the same wavelength and their one-touch lay-offs were easily intercepted.
The game had fizzled out when Arshavin created an opportunity after a physical battle, which appeared to be a foul by the Russian, but Van Persie’s attempt was saved by Reina.
Moments later the match roared into life as Frimpong went into another needless tackle which brought him a predictable and avoidable second booking. From that point on it was all Liverpool.
Wenger introduced another youngster as Lansbury came on for Arshavin. Arsenal were working hard but Liverpool created a couple of chances within minutes of gaining the numerical advantage. The introduction of the wily Suarez made the difference as he first forced save from Szczesny and then set Downing up for another strike on target.
The first goal came in the 78th minute. Meireles played in Suarez who was off-side but only just. Miquel came back to intercept the ball but his attempted clearance bounced from the chest of Ramsey and over Szczesny.
How often have you seen the assist and goal both coming from the defending team that too from an off-side situation? It was really harsh on the players but one cannot deny Arsenal make themselves susceptible to such disasters more often than any other side. Therein lies the real problem.
Wenger introduced Bendtner for Theo but where 11 men failed 10 just had no chance.
Liverpool got the second in the final minute of normal time. The midfielders were tired and had given up on tracking back by then which made it easy for the visitors to pass the ball around a couple of defenders to open up the goal for a tap-in. It usually happens when ten men are chasing a game.
PLAYER RATINGS;
SZCZENSY; This young lad is just amazing, the way he keeps the goal is just outta this world,1 save from caroll and henderson before the goals came.funny enough 3 of the  5 goals he has conceeded fom pre-season till now were scored by arsenal players!!!jenkinson, bartley.ramsey the culprits  7/10
JENKINSON; premier league debut against a big team like liverpool and stewart dowing doesn't get harder,if i am to be fair wit him i'll say he tried but believe me this is not the sort of player arsenal should have. 5/10
KOSCIENLY; Arsenal looked solid when he was at the back with TV5  hobbled out with an injury to give miguel an emergency debut, add to the injury woes, and make wenger TRY to see his STUPIDITY N/A
VERMAELEN; Everytime  this gem touches the ball i smile, but then i get sad again...where was he last season when we crumbled!gave andy caroll a torrid time on the pitch,by far the best player of the day for both teams, helped miguel when he came on but was a fraction too late when we conceded the 2nd 8/10
SAGNA; wasn’t exactly comfortable starting on the left but later adjusted well enough although it was from his flank the own goal was conceded 5/10
FRIMPONG; I just love this dude for his comittment, tenacity and aggression although the last of those qualities ended what was seeming like a day to remember.a victim of 'inexperience' frimpong had to stupid incidents end his game 5/10
RAMSEY;simple put, this boy CAN'T replace fabregas!!!! take off the own goal but ramsey is not not it!!!!!!!!!!!! 3/10
NASRI; Showed professionalism, had a game below his standards. One solo run in the first half was the peak of his action. 5/10
WALCOTT; As always, full of energy with bursts of speed but no productive end result. made enrique look world class, taken off in the 79th minute for Nicklas Bendtner to cap a poor outing from him.5/10
ARSHAVIN; His touch was disappointing on more occasions than one. Work rate was better and he was really trying to contribute in defence. Never got a chance to run at the defenders in a one-v-one.
I thought the system forced the wide players into a defensive position far too often. Van Persie could never win a ball in the air and hold it up. Given the struggles of the midfield, this meant the attacking opportunities were really limited. When the ball did get forward in wide areas there just weren’t enough bodies in support.4/10
VAN PIERSE; The persie-captaincy started with a defeat...so sad as he gave a lot in support but got little.5/10
SUBS;
MIQUEL;Much better than his debut game against Ipswich. Seems to have matured well and looks stronger. His positioning was good, won the ball back on a number of occasions when the opponent had a loose touch, unfortunate part in the own goal but was caught out by Suarez due to his inexperience which forced him into a suicidal clearance.7/10

ENIGMA FEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think my blog would be complete without me talking about the ENIGMA fever that made every young boy who knows a thing or two about music go gaga. When DONJAZZY's enigma competition came up on www.notjustok.com with the mind-catching price tag of $2,000 twas sure that upcoming rappers where gonna get hard on the beat.
A cool beat from DON BABA J as he's fondly called by the Mohits crew Enigma was soon the number 1 trending topic nation-wide on social networking site twitter. As it was meant to be so many version of enigma were recorded by different artists in and outside Nigeria.
Bizzymic,Blaqpen,IsEbuka,Kid Konnect,Vosa obviously were hilarious in thier versions of enigma
Cyrus Da Virus,DopeKeed,Izzy,stain2,twinakle,verizon,ERIGGANEWMONEY,Yungpro amongst others killed the beat.
Of the various version of Enigma I have heard I think Izzy's Enigma stands out and that's strictly because of the creativity behind the Song.Backed by his Righthand man and producer Twik Both B.U boys edited the enigma beat and added something different that even DONJAZZY was proud of on twitter. That singular gesture of brilliance stole my heart back by the cool lyrics that followed.
BUT the PICK of all Enigmas must be that by WARRI boy ERiGGA-NEW-MONEY.the lyrics of this song is STRICTLY for those above 18 but the creativity and composure by Erigga Based on Logistics is worth commendable.Creativity wise Erigga is 10/10."HOW ON EARTH DOES THIS DUDE THINK SO WILD" is the question you will ask yourselves when u finally get to hear this Erigga's version of Enigma,1 he specially titled ERIGMA!!!
As he said at the end of the song it wasn't sent to compete in the Enigma competition he just JUMPED on the beat for fun
"THIS BOY LYRICS STRONG SOTEY E FIT PUSH TIPPER START"

GERVINHO HAS COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF Drogba is the Question then Gervinho is the answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While one of these ivorians could be saying bye to football soon the other is about to begin a new chapter of his footballing career.24yrs Old Gervais Yao Kaussoi popularly known as Gervinho recntly signed a £10.5million deal at the red half of northlondon and his un-official debut for the club shows why a little know ivorian could cost so much having in mind Arsene Wenger Spending philosophy.
Sure critics would say "Twas just a pre-season game" but we all know that 2goals in 16mins is no mean feat specially for a man playing wit his team mates for the first time.Is pace, skill, strength and desire to win is what give him an Edge over quite a number of players.Gervinho wit 18assist and 15goals helped OSC lille as they ended a 52yr trophyless tenure. He surely is the Messiah to put an End to Arsenal 6yrs trophyless seasons.
After the cologne game on Saturday Frank lampard tweeted "Gervinho scores 2 goals for arsenal and arsenal fans are already calling him the best striker in the world.Don't worry he'll help u fight relegation"
A good reply to that tweet came from comical arsenal fan @eboue_eboue.His tweet read "torres 18apperances 1goal,Gervinho 16mins 2goals"
OUCCCCCCCCH.
COMETH THE MAN,COMETH THE MOMENT!!!!
Gervinho, Arsenal transfer news

LOOK OUT FOR THESE BOYS NEXT SEASON!!!

Here are 11 of our reserve and youth players who have a chance to make a step up to the first team this summer. They are all very talented and many were out on loan last season.

In Wellington and Botelho's case, they have already been loaned out for the season and i expect many in the list to follow them in the some of the top European leagues.

Damian Martinez - The young Argentinian has been very impressive for the under 18s last year, and for the Argentinian youth sides. His great shot stopping even led to a surprise call up to the national team squad this summer, after an emergency goalkeeping situation.

He surely has a bright future at Arsenal, but at only 19 years old we'll have to wait a few years till he's even though of for the first team.

Carl Jenkinson - The new signing had an impressive time in Malaysia and also came out top in the fitness tests at the beginning of pre-season. The versatile defender, is tall, strong, fast and comfortable in possession and, if he makes good progress in the next few weeks could lead to Eboue's departure, and a step up to second choice right back.

Ignasi Miquel - The Spaniard featured twice for the first team last campaign against Orient and barely put a foot wrong. The Catalan centre-back is tall but needs to bulk up if he wants to be ready for the physicality of the English game.

With Arsenal's common defensive problems he definitely has a chance to get into the first team, although he is looking very likely to leave on loan to a Premier league side - possibly as a makeweight for the Cahill deal.

Kyle Bartley - Kyle was very impressive in his loan spells at Rangers and Sheffield United. He looked like a player we've missed over the last few years; strong, brave, good in the air and hard in the tackle. He, like nearly all Arsenal youth graduates is very comfortable in possession and even featured in midfield during his Rangers loan.

His future at Arsenal next year is unclear right now, but recently he stated his desire to make a first team place his own. Personally i'd prefer him to Squillaci and maybe our other defender too, but with the possible arrival of another defender, and Rangers waiting patiently, the future Bolton defender may see his future elsewhere.

Pedro Botelho - The Brazilian had his best spell on loan last season at FC Cartagena and looked dangerous and exciting playing both left back and left midfield. After Clichy's exit, and Pedro finally being able to apply for a work permit, we may have expected to see him stake a claim for the left back position, but instead he has moved out on loan to Rayo Vallecano who are new to La Liga.

Henri Lansbury - Henri will always be remember by Arsenal fans for scoring at White Hart Lane as Arsenal smashed our closest rivals. However, he would prefer to be remembered for winning titles with the Gooners, and he may be able to help doing that this season. Fresh from an impressive loan at Norwich, he could easily slot into the midfield place vacated by Denilson, and with Coquelin away with France u-20's he has a head start in pre-season.

Henri, who is more than capable in central midfield and out wide on the right, has recently been subject to a bid from Norwich to join them permanently in the Premiership, but the bid was rejected. He may go on loan to a Premier league team similar to Wilshere a few years ago, but if things go his way he could be making a more telling contribution.

Emmanuel Frimpong - Frimpong probably has the best chance of a first team place next year. Song needs competition to continue improving, and with Wenger reluctant to open his chequebook for a new defensive midfielder, Denilson leaving on loan and Coquelin in international duty, the 19 year old has an excellent chance, especially if he has a pre-season similar to last years.

Whilst on tour in Asia he looked very hungry to retain possession and was strong in the tackle. His positioning was sometimes suspect, as was his passing, but he looks physically ready and defensively solid. He'll probably get another few chances against Cologne and in the Emirates cup to prove himself capable.

Conor Henderson - When he featured in our FA cup game against Orient at home, it was a big surprise. Unlike JET, Frimpong, Eastmond and the other young British players in our reserves, Conor was not well-known among fans.

However, the young Irishman has an excellent passing range and could be seen as a dead ball specialist. He is also very highly rated by the boss, who after the Orient game said his future lies with the first team. That may be hard to achieve though, as Arsenal have a massive range of ball playing midfielders, and Conor is set to turn 20 in September. Is he's good enough though, we'll soon see him in an Arsenal shirt.

Hopefully the injury he picked up against Cologne on Saturday won't disrupt his season as feared too.

Ryo Miyaichi - Fast, skillful, good crossing, great dribbling, amazing technique and only 18 years old. Plucked form Japanese high school Ryo looks set to be another gem Arsene and his scouting network have secured. In the Asian tour he was impressive and didn't look at all out place in the first team squad, the only shame is that he may have work permit issues so may have to go out on loan.

That may end up being a blessing in disguise though, as the first team football he got week in week out at Feyenoord last years led to him making a vast improvement and a similar loan could make him be excellently prepared for the first team.

Wellington Silva - Silva was extremely hyped up before his transfer to Arsenal from Fluminese. We thought he could be in the first team, even though we'd only seen minimal footage of him playing on youtube. He then went on to have a disastrous spell on loan at Levante, where he only made two substitute appearances, and his attitude was put down regularly by the Spanish press.

However, the exciting Brazilian hope to have turned a corner this season as he again went on loan to Levante, although this time with a different, more professional attitude. His new found attitude has landed him with 2 starts in 2 pre-season games and hopefully he can become a major player for the La Liga side this season. If he does progress dramatically, he could be very knocking on the doors of the first team very shortly- although work permit issues could disrupt this.

Gilles Sunu - Sunu is another who has dipped under the radar of many fans. If one of our other players scored a goal in the final of an international tournament, he'd be very close to the first team but Sunu went straight on loan to France in January. He played 9 times for Lorient in the French first division, and even though he failed to find the net, he made a good impression and may return there on loan next season.

Sunu has bags of pace, and can finish too as he has shown when he's got chances. He will get more chances to play if he returns on loan to Lorient, and game time will really help him improve his game. He still has a while until we will know whether he can progress into the Arsenal first team, but he is making the necessary steps by playing regularly for French youth teams, and featuring occasionally in Ligue Un.

And 5 to watch out for in the next few years:
Ebecilio, Afobe, Bellerin, Aneke, Toral.

All 5 are very exciting young players. Ebecilio has shone for Holland at youth level this summer and Afobe even featured for the first team briefly against Cologne. His partner Aneke has been scoring freely for Arsenal reserves in their preseason, whilst the young Barcelona pair (Toral and Bellerin) seem to be settling in very nicely and could be featuring for the reserves and under18 sides a lot next season.

ARSENAL CRUISETO VICTORY AGAINST MALYASIAN X1 IN KUALA LUMPOR IN IST GAME OF 2011 PRE-SEASON

Arsenal cruised to victory in the opening game of their Asia Tour on Wednesday night in front of a crowd approaching 70,000.

In the sweltering heat of Kuala Lumpur, a Malaysia XI found them simply too hot to handle.

Aaron Ramsey stroked home a penalty after five minutes and, eight minutes before the break Theo Walcott clipped home a second. Carlos Vela dinked in No 3 just after the restart.

Malaysia XI had carried a threat in the first half, mainly thanks to the pace of left winger Kunanlan Subramaniam. But they fell away as the game wore on. Tomas Rosicky even added a fourth at the death.

This was Arsenal’s first game in Malaysia since 1999. Back then Emmanuel Petit and Nicolas Anelka had secure a solid 2-0 victory.

The current crop leave for China on Thursday on the second leg of the Tour.

But, having seen them in the flesh, we can hope the Club have left a lasting legacy for the Malaysia people. From their fervent support it is clear they knew all about Arsenal before they arrived.

Hopefully this game will leave some happy memories once the team has gone.

The Bukit Jalil Stadium had erupted when the Arsenal team came out to warm-up. And the decibel levels went up 10 fold as the side emerged from the tunnel for the game.

Wearing the 125th anniversary away kit for the first time, Wenger’s XI side waved their  ‘hellos’. After a week of welcome from this friendly country, they were very accustomed to the response they received.

The atmosphere was a heavy mixture of excitement, adulation and sweltering heat. In effect, the Malaysia XI was a squad from the national team. This was the first of three games against top quality Premier League opposition - Liverpool and Chelsea are due up soon - so head coach Datuk Rajagobal was managing his resources.

Mohd Safee Mohd Sali, the golden boy of Malaysia football, began on the bench. But playmaker and captain Safiq Rahim would be patrolling the midfield.

Wenger handed first Arsenal starts to Carl Jenkinson and Ryo Miyaichi. Kieran Gibbs was installed at left-back, a role his he is set to frequent following the departure of Gael Clichy.

The game had barely settled when Arsenal took the lead. In the fifth minute, Mohd Aidil Zafuan clipped Jack Wilshere as he darted down the left of the area. Ramsey was perhaps a surprising choice of penalty-taker but he was cool enough to send the keeper the wrong way.

Almost immediately it might have been 2-0 when Walcott popped up on the right but lifted his effort over the bar.

Malaysia attacks were sporadic - and mostly through the pacy Subramaniam. But any foray forward was greeted with rapturous applause. The crowd was 80 per cent Arsenal shirts but this was very much a national party.

Walcott’s pace continued to bother the home defence as did Ramsey’s movement and vision. When the two talents were combined, Arsenal were at their best.

Midway through the half, Marouane Chamakh fed Walcott on the edge of the area but the striker lost the ball at the vital moment.

Malaysia had peppered Wojciech Szczesny’s goal with long-range shots throughout so it was no surprise when Rahim tried his luck with a right wing free-kick. The tall Polish keeper stretched to tip it over but, in fairness, always had it covered.

The pace of Subramaniam was still the main weapon for Malaysia. However Jenkinson was handling him well. Chamakh drifted a header past the far post on the half-hour. In response, Ahmad Fakri Saarani tried to nod past Szczesny but the keeper blocked and the flag was up.

In the 37th minute Arsenal did grab that second. And, yet again, the Ramsey-Walcott axis worked. The Welshman sent an astute angled ball through to the sprinting Englishman. He lifted his shot over the keeper.

Seconds later, Walcott reached the byline and his searching cut back had to be hurriedly hacked clear. As the whistle approached, Arsenal were cruising. Perhaps it was the heat, perhaps it was a technical advantage but the visitors had taken control in the first 45 minutes without ever truly moving out of second gear.

Wenger made eight changes at the interval. Only Ramsey, Miyiachi and Jenkinson stayed on.

In the opening eight minutes both sides had a decent chance. Vela touched back Rosicky’s ball for Ramsey to race through and thunder his shot inches over the bar.

Shortly afterwards, Vito Mannone was penalised for holding on to the ball too long. Malaysia XI were awarded an indirect free-kick inside the area but the wall held firm from Rahim’s drive.

In the 57th minute, Arsenal’s quality told once again. Rosicky released Vela on the left of the area and, in typical style, the Mexican hoist a cheeky chip beyond the reach of the stranded keeper and into the far corner of the net.

With the job done, Wenger brought on two of his most experienced players - Robin van Persie and Bacary Sagna.

It was time for Arsenal to kick on. Vela should have made it four but, after collecting Johan Djourou’s pass and beating a couple of men, his shot hit a defender who had time to race back to the line.

Rosicky hacked over soon afterwards but made amends by grabbing the fourth in added time.

At the final whistle, the crowd erupted again and the team said their goodbyes.

As a game, this was average. As a spectacle, it was superb. If the Asia tour is about spreading the word of Arsenal, then this particular message was sent out loud and clear.
